Cameroonian municipalities, with the support of MINDDEVEL and municipal associations, have implemented various initiatives to attract investments from the diaspora.
Innovative and resilient commercial and industrial projects tailored to our cities are particularly encouraged for their growth potential and positive economic impact. These efforts include infrastructure development and the promotion of strategic sectors such as agriculture, agri-food, and renewable energy.
Real estate projects are multiplying and many Cameroonians living abroad wish to invest in this constantly evolving sector.
Crédit Foncier du Cameroun (CFC) offers financial solutions tailored to diasporas to facilitate investments, and Société Immobilière du Cameroun (SIC) supports investors in administrative procedures related to the acquisition or construction of housing.
The Autonomous Port of Douala (PAD) and the Autonomous Port of Kribi (PAK) are Cameroon’s two main ports. These two infrastructures play a strategic role in international trade and offer attractive investment opportunities, particularly for the Cameroonian diaspora.
Privileged access is reserved for expatriates through mechanisms such as Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), Logistics and Industrial Zones (ZLI) dedicated to commercial activities and factories, port services and support infrastructure that offer opportunities to invest in the modernization of quays, terminal management or the development of new facilities adapted to the growing needs of international trade.
Partner companies of the REP-COD 2025 mission are highlighted, highlighting their contribution and the opportunities they offer to the diaspora.
B2B meeting sessions will provide a platform for establishing direct professional contacts.
These meetings will facilitate exchanges between diaspora investors and Cameroonian companies, thus promoting the creation of strategic partnerships and business opportunities.
